In collaboration with SAT Servizi, an environmental cleanup day focused on the bike path was held in Cairo Montenotte, featuring fifty-one students from the “Federico Patetta” High School in Cairo and the “San Giuseppe Calasanzio” State High School in Carcare.
The initiative, “PuliAmo Cairo,” resulted in the collection of 60 kilograms of plastic, 100 kilograms of dry waste, and two tires.
“An opportunity to “clean up” a heavily trafficked area of the city and to promote a culture of respect for the environment, green spaces, urban aesthetics, and public spaces,” read the message from the city administration, which thanked the students, as well as the schools, for participating in the initiative.
In addition to providing the necessary equipment for cleaning and collection, SAT also arranged for the disposal of the waste collected during the morning.
